Caesar's CoinMore than one-third of the work covers Lucky Marquez, a beautiful young Cuban woman, who buys Caesars coin in a Las Vegas casino. Lucky is brazen, impetuous, sensual, greedy, exploitive, craven, irresponsible and harms almost everyone she meets. She drives her male consorts to frantic spending on her compulsive gambling--even suicide. Mario Capomonte is her deadly enemy. He believes Lucky has used his son to steal the family heirloom. Capomonte is a devout follower of Dante Aligheri and forever quotes Dante and his interpretation of Hell. He is a man possessed with the righteousness of revenge--the vendetta. He pursues Lucky across the world to regain the coin and throw her into the abyss of a damnable Hell. Both are overcome, however, by a soul from Dantes Paradiso. CHAPTERS I. GAUL 52 B.C. II.
